2. Independence from Government Entities
IL Workforce Toolkit is a privately operated civic technology platform. We are unequivocally not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), the Federal Reserve, or any other government agency. Any interaction you have with our tools does not constitute an official application for state or federal benefits.
3. Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk

- Government & Bank Delays: We bear ZERO LIABILITY for delayed ACH routing transfers, frozen KeyBank accounts, suspended Chime/CashApp clearing cycles, or federal banking network outages. Our tracking dates are projections; we cannot force a bank to clear your funds.
- Accuracy of Calculations: While we strive to mirror 2026 IDES and IDHS CLI110L algorithms, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of benefit payout figures. Your actual disbursements are determined exclusively by official state auditors.
- Consequential Damages: Under no circumstances shall IL Workforce Toolkit be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including overdraft fees, late rent penalties, or loss of income) resulting from your reliance on the information provided on this site.
